A snapshot, not the whole story.
This uses Google PageSpeed Insights / Lighthouse’s desktop lab configuration, which may simulate network and CPU timings. It is not a mobile test or real-user monitoring. Timing varies with network conditions, cache state, page content, and third-party resources. Platform detection is an inference from public evidence.
It cannot inspect private PHP/plugin code, database queries, signed-in sessions, or a customer’s checkout. Unavailable measurements are marked “Not measured.” A failed or empty audit does not mean the store is fast, safe, or issue-free. Service suggestions are scoping options, not proven fixes.
What happens to your URL?
Submitting sends the normalized public URL to this site’s /api/audit endpoint. Our backend sends that URL to Google PageSpeed Insights for a desktop Lighthouse audit. Google requests the page and its public resources, so those providers may receive the requests. Your browser’s store login and session are not sent. Results are displayed here, not handed off to an external report.
This frontend has no analytics, advertising cookies, accounts, payment collection, or persistent client storage. Results remain in this page’s memory until you leave or refresh. Cloudflare processes connection and diagnostic metadata for delivery and security; sampled traces can include sanitized audit URLs. Browser reports sent to Sentry contain error types and our source-code locations, not exception messages, form values, cookies, or audit reports. No application database stores submissions or reports. Do not submit private links, personal information, or secrets, including in URL paths.
The separate scoping planner creates a downloadable brief locally. It does not send a lead, book work, or provision a service.
